Description of the project:
Our organization, the Association for Education “Edu Skills”, actively participated in the international youth project “Dialogues of the Future”, held from 20 to 28 October 2025 in Stubičke Toplice, Croatia, within the Erasmus+ program (Project No. 2024-1-HR01-KA152-YOU-000234567).
The organizers and carriers of the project were the Debate Club at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zagreb, which, through its activities, has been encouraging young people to develop in the areas of public speaking, critical thinking, and civic participation for a long time.
In this project, young participants from Macedonia had the opportunity
nity to be part of an international environment with peers from Croatia, Italy, Greece, and Romania, where they developed their communication, argumentation, and critical skills through debates, interactive workshops, and simulations of public speaking.
They actively worked in mixed teams, exchanging experiences and ideas related to effective communication, media literacy, and intercultural tolerance, while fostering mutual respect and understanding of different cultures.
Through practical activities and group work, the young people gained new knowledge about public speaking, leadership, and youth activism, as well as a deeper understanding of European values and the role of young people in active citizenship.
The project enabled the young people to build self-confidence, improve their social and communication skills, and create friendships that will continue after the exchange. Participation in this project is a significant step towards fostering active, responsible, and engaged young citizens who believe in dialogue, understanding, and common progress.
